She has held leadership roles in Fortune 100 companies, including on strategy teams at Comcast Business, Xfinity Mobile, and Independence Blue Cross.

Aïcha is a native of Senegal, West Africa, and draws from her experience being a triple minority in leadership – female, immigrant, and black - to champion others.

10 Fun Facts —

  1. When I Immigrated from Senegal I was already fluent in two languages and had to navigate a third, really complex, language. English is a trip; I still don’t know how “Knife” isn't pronounced “Ka-nife”).

  2. I grew a passion for public speaking in adolescence and competed in debate club and Future Business Leaders of America. I was honing in my craft, even then.

  3. My first public speaking “break” was my High School commencement speech to 300+ attendees. It’s only been a short time since then. I maintain that I am still young.

  4. I got my BA in Political Science. Politics runs in my blood; my grandfather was the Senegalese Ambassador to Gabon.

  5. I received an MBA from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Gritty still gives me nightmares. If you don’t know Gritty, please don’t google it.

  6. I’ve successfully led teams while in high profile roles at several Fortune 100 companies and am recognized for having executive presence. Having “been there” makes me well-positioned to support others.

  7. I’ve been invited to speak at over 15 corporate and industry events in just the past few years. It feels fantastic to be up on that stage.

  8. My favorite “talk” was my TED talk on accent-based biases, attended by over 1,000 people. It’s called "Deconstructing the Color of Language."

  9. Public speaking is not just a talent for me, it’s also a study. I’ve done extensive research into communication and psychology-backed confidence boosting exercises so you don’t have to.
